Union Home Minister Amit Shah will officially launch the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) "Jan Viswas Yatra" in the state today in anticipation of the upcoming Assembly Election in Tripura.
On Thursday, Shah will launch the "Jan Viswas Yatra" from the Tripura districts of Dhamanagar in the north and Sabroom in the south.
To increase its support base in the state, the Tripura BJP will launch the "Jan Viswas Yatra" programme.
The eight-day Yatra will visit 60 of the state's constituencies. The Yatra's primary goal is to highlight the advancements made by the BJP government since that year.
JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, will be present on January 12 when the yatra's last day, when he will address the crowd.
